One moment that really stood out to me was during a challenging math lesson that required sustained problem-solving. Normally, about halfway through, I notice students becoming restless or distracted. After a short brain break and a healthy snack, they came back to the carpet refreshed and ready to work. I watched students who typically struggle with stamina stay engaged, raise their hands, and confidently explain their thinking. That moment confirmed just how impactful this project has been.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the snacks, their faces lit up. There were huge smiles and excited whispers of, \"Are those for us?\" and \"Thank you!\" They immediately felt cared for and valued. For some of my students, having a dependable snack during the school day brings comfort and stability. It removes the distraction of hunger and allows them to focus on learning instead of their empty stomachs.\r\n\r\nRight now, we are working on a collaborative reading and writing project where students analyze texts and develop thoughtful written responses. Because of our consistent brain breaks and snack time, I've seen improved focus during discussions, stronger participation in group work, and more stamina during extended writing tasks. Moving forward, I also plan to incorporate mini-lessons on healthy habits and self-regulation so students can better understand how nutrition and movement support their learning.\r\n\r\nYour support has done more than provide snacks, it has helped me create a classroom environment where my students feel supported, focused, and ready to succeed.
