My students are not able to access technology outside of class. They are only able to use the technology provided by the school. Unfortunately, I have 20 students that must be rotated between 3 computers throughout the day with minimal usage. Technology is becoming more prevalent in the workplace and our students must be prepared. A plus for adding tablets to our classroom is students can access virtual books that are not currently available in our media center. The students can read or have books read to them. As a classroom teacher, I can access teaching material that can be shared with students to increase proficiency in math and reading.
