We use this every day to help with our UFLI(University of Florida Literacy Institute) research and evidence-based foundations instruction. \r\n\r\nIt allows my students the practice with decoding and encoding regular words with every new concept. The teacher (myself) provides decoding and/or encoding prompts to facilitate word work with manipulative letters.\r\n\r\nAll of these phonics and phonemic awareness skills are building the fundamental reading blocks that will make them strong and successful readers. They're able to listen closely to phonics lessons and story read-alouds, which helps them build confidence and stay engaged.
