Your generosity has provided us with materials that are already making a meaningful difference in my students' learning, organization, and independence.\r\n\r\nThe wooden mailboxes were an immediate hit with my students! They were intrigued and excited when they first saw them and asked lots of questions about what they were and how we would use them. The mailboxes now give students a special place to organize their completed and checked-off work. This has helped make organization a natural and important part of our classroom routine.\r\n\r\nOur organization trays have also been a wonderful addition. Students enjoy using them to organize their letters and manipulatives, which helps them find what they need and keep our learning space neat. The pencil boxes are especially helpful for keeping our base-ten blocks organized. We will be able to use these boxes throughout the entire school year for our base-ten blocks and other manipulatives, making them a resource that will continue to support learning all year long.\r\n\r\nThe laptop stand has been another useful addition to our classroom. It allows me to prop up whiteboards so students can clearly see my modeled work during lessons. It also helps me keep our small-group table organized and gives us more usable space for learning.\r\n\r\nFinally, the markers are helping us create colorful and engaging anchor charts that students can refer back to during lessons. These visual supports make important concepts easier to remember and give students a resource they can use independently.\r\n\r\nThank you for investing in our classroom and our students. Your generosity has provided more than just classroom supplies, you have helped create a more organized, engaging, and student-friendly learning environment. My students are excited to use these materials, and I am grateful for the opportunities they provide us throughout the school year.","fullyFundedDate":1787585093381,"projectUrl":"project/from-empty-spaces-to-eager-faces/10489798/","projectTitle":"From Empty Spaces to Eager Faces!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Baker","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10594018_orig.jpg?crop=1065,1065,x251,y302&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1786734546341","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10594018"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_1308","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":273,"numTeachers":21,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":4,"percentBlack":2,"percentWhite":69,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":16,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","percentHawaiianImputed":0,"percentMultiracialImputed":5,"gradesServed":"K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"13.0:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_FRINGE"},"inStateSupporters":69.9,"schoolId":1308,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Mull Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Mull Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/north-carolina/burke-county-school-district/mull-elementary-school/1308"}
