My students are a wonderful group of kids who have a desire to learn. There are several ability groups within my classroom. The children all have different learning styles and love hands-on activities. They love to look at books and read with friends.They also enjoy being the star of the show and share what they have learned . My class is very energetic so we enjoy movement however we like quiet special areas for reading. We incorporate whole group and guided reading into our schedule every day. My favorite part of the day is our read aloud time where I can read and discuss books with my class. I enjoy incorporating reading into other subject areas in my class. When we read together the students enjoy sharing how they relate it to their lives. Our school is a very small and low economic school. We are very friendly and kid oriented with one goal in mind, teaching and caring for children so that they get the best education possible. We are a very caring family!
