Your kindness has made a meaningful difference in our classroom, helping create a space where students feel comfortable, cared for, and ready to learn each day.\r\n\r\nWe have been using the hats and mittens to ensure that all students are prepared for outdoor activities, especially during colder days when some may not have had access to these essentials. The snacks have been a huge support as well, giving students the energy they need to stay focused and engaged throughout lessons. The cleaning supplies have helped us maintain a safe and healthy classroom environment, and students have even taken part in helping keep our space clean, building responsibility and pride in our classroom.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the materials, their reactions were full of excitement and gratitude. Many immediately noticed that they would no longer have to worry about being cold or hungry during the day, and it created a sense of relief and happiness that was truly special to witness. It also sparked conversations about kindness and generosity, helping students understand the impact of helping others.\r\n\r\nOne memorable moment was when students were able to comfortably participate in an outdoor cooperative learning activity without distraction, bundled up and ready to focus. Having snacks available afterward helped everyone refuel and reflect together, turning a simple lesson into a more meaningful and inclusive experience.\r\n\r\nAs we move forward, we plan to continue incorporating these resources into our daily routines. Students will keep building independence by helping manage supplies and maintain our classroom, while also engaging more deeply in lessons without basic needs being a barrier. Your support has not only provided materials but has strengthened our classroom community and allowed students to focus on learning and growing together.\r\n\r\nThank you again for your generosity and for believing in our students.","fullyFundedDate":1768613713483,"projectUrl":"project/warmth-care-and-hunger-supplies/10021398/","projectTitle":"Warmth, Care, and Hunger Supplies","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Samuels","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp1507505_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1470943518996","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/1507505"},{"teacherId":6214508,"projectId":9279860,"letterContent":"My kids were so excited to have the magnatiles and magnetic people for our classroom. The Magna-Tiles you helped provide have quickly become a favorite learning tool for my students.\r\n\r\nAs soon as we opened the box, the students' eyes lit up with excitement. Some gasped, others immediately started building towers and shapes, and one student whispered, \"This is the best day ever!\" Watching them explore the tiles with such joy and curiosity was truly heartwarming.\r\n\r\nWe've been using the Magna-Tiles during both structured STEM activities and free exploration time. One specific project involved designing \"dream cities\" where students had to plan and build miniature cityscapes using the tiles, incorporating principles of geometry, symmetry, and even basic engineering. The conversations and collaboration that happened during this project were incredible.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, we'll be integrating the Magna-Tiles into our upcoming lessons on measurement and spatial reasoning, bringing math to life in a hands-on and meaningful way.\r\n\r\nThanks to your generosity, our classroom has become an even more dynamic space for learning, creativity, and collaboration.
