My students are unique learners with different learning styles. To acquire skills each student needs to be comfortable when learning. This helps students be able to pay attention and focus. Flexible seating is essential to a child's acquisition of skills because it eliminates environmental stessors. With this flexible seating, I am trying to provide a way for student choice in their learning. My students must keep up with the latest advancements in education to spark their interest in learning throughout the day. This type of seating will also benefit my students in the area of STEAM. Differentiated groupings and the ability to have a "maker space" is essential to a 21st century education.
