Additionally, the flexible setup helped foster a stronger sense of community, as students were more inclined to communicate, share ideas, and support one another.\r\n\r\nOverall, this project created a more inclusive and dynamic learning space where all students could thrive. My students were so excited to see the new games and activities that we were able to get, and they could not wait to begin using them! Rhyming is a very important skill in reading development. It helps students hear and work with sounds in words. It not only helps with decoding, but with spelling and vocabulary. \r\nBecause of the things we added to our classroom, students are able to explore in small groups or independently, based on their skill levels. There's not as much arguing and disappointment because we have enough supplies to go around; this makes for a peaceful, collaborative classroom. Engaged students are happy students!\r\nThese materials are available for students to use during learning centers. Many of them opt to use them during free time, as well. They are really, really enjoying themselves!\r\nWords cannot fully express our appreciation. Not only did the students in my class this year benefit, but they students moving up will benefit, as well.
