As a 1:1 Chromebook to student ratio school, and a Science teacher utilizing an online curriculum, Chromebooks have become a vital piece of my students' opportunity for success. The vast majority of my students have 0 issues with their Chromebook, while others will have issues. These issues can range from their own personal treatment of the Chromebook, to mishandling by a family member at home, to just the Chromebook itself malfunctioning. No matter the reason, once their computer is down, their access to learning in my class declines while we wait for their Chromebook to be shipped out and fixed. It is my hope, to have this project funded, so that I can loan any of my students that do not have a Chromebook that day, one of mine to utilize for science so that their educational path through science is not disrupted.
