For example, students can use visual and audio cues to help them understand and remember new words. Interactive flashcards, games, and quizzes help reinforce their learning in a way that is much more dynamic and enjoyable. They love using the app PinkCat where they pick synonyms and antonyms for words while gaining points and playing against their peers!\r\n\r\nWhile using the iPad, my students can access a wide range of reading materials—from short stories to passages that are tailored to their level by using apps such as IXL and Boom Cards. After reading these passages, they can answer questions directly on the device, which helps improve their comprehension and recall. The ability to read and immediately respond helps reinforce the connection between reading and understanding, which is essential for their language development.\"\r\n\r\nThe iPad also allows students to watch videos that are not only engaging but also educational. They can listen to stories or follow along with instructional videos that improve their listening skills.
