I love teaching and promoting a fun learning environment for my students. I want them to walk into a classroom where they have all the necessary supplies and an abundant amount of them. Many of my students have come into the school year without notebooks, folders or pencils. The adequate supplies that we need to maintain a supportive classroom environment will push them to succeed with the resources they need! We are a math classroom so pencils are constantly being used, post its, white boards, glue is needed to place certain resources in their notebooks. Every item on this list is something the classroom and students are in need of!! These supplies will make a difference to them because they won't need to worry about pencils because their will be a surplus amount. Mathematics is a hard process so providing resources is extremely beneficial for them to glue in and refer to in their notebooks. Students in math, as well as all subjects, are at all different levels. The resources provided are scaffolds to fit the student's individual needs. White boards are a very important and fun part of Math. Students get to work independently or in groups to solve different tasks or problems and explain their thinking! All of these supplies will be beneficial to the mathematics we do on a daily basis in our classroom.
