Having a set of tablets in our classroom will help differentiate instruction for struggling learners. Our school has a variety of resources and computer based programs available, however my classroom is currently only equipped with three desk top computers. Therefore, students receive a limited amount of computer time. The programs our school has available, tailor learning to each individual student based on their interests and learning needs. Access to more technology will increase student achievement. Integrating technology into the classroom is an effective way to connect students of all learning styles. Having these tablets will be an amazing opportunity for the students to have hands on and engaging learning experiences. In addition, the tablets will enhance instruction and allow students access to technology that they ordinarily might not have exposure to.
