From 8:00am until 2:20pm Monday thru Friday, our classroom is my students' home, and like any good home it provides a safe haven from all the troubles of the outside world. For students with special educational needs, the world can sometimes be a difficult, overwhelming place to be, so I have tried to create a space where they can feel safe, secure and heard. They must feel safe in order to take academic risks that will result in learning. My students are like all other children. They have their wants and their needs, they have their strengths and their weaknesses. They are a wonderful bunch who deserve the very best that the world has to offer. They work so hard to move forward in their learning. My students are my other kids. They own my heart and deserve my best which is why I have this Donor's Choose page. When I can't give them something I can reach out to you and ask for help. Class 233 Rocks!
