As a speech-language pathologist, I have seen firsthand how these resources have supported my students' communication, engagement, and learning.\r\n\r\nThe Scholastic magazines have been an invaluable tool for building background knowledge, expanding vocabulary, and encouraging comprehension. Many of my students benefit from high-interest texts that make language skills feel meaningful and fun. Since introducing the magazines, I have observed improved participation, increased motivation, and stronger carryover of skills from session to session.\r\n\r\nThe sensory fidgets and spinner wheel have also had a major impact. The fidgets help students regulate their attention so they can focus on language tasks, and the spinner makes answering questions motivating and interactive. Students who are usually hesitant to speak are now more eager to participate, demonstrating greater confidence when sharing ideas.\r\n\r\nThe who, what, and why picture cards have allowed me to focus on social thinking, problem solving, and expressive language. Students describe the scenes, explain their reasoning, and engage in conversation with peers while practicing sentence structure and logical thinking. These materials help me provide therapy sessions that are both engaging and highly effective, targeting core speech and language goals in ways that students truly enjoy.\r\n\r\nBecause of your generosity, I am able to plan sessions that are interactive, motivating, and tailored to my students' individual needs.
