Because of this support, we were able to create a beautiful, intentional space where our scholars can explore mindfulness and emotional regulation in a safe, supportive environment. The room has quickly become one of their favorite places in the school—scholars look forward to visiting in hard moments and gives them a sense of peace and ease. They love the calming atmosphere and the wide variety of tools and activities that help them reconnect with the present moment, find inner calm, and improve focus.\r\n\r\n\r\nTeachers have noticed a difference as well. Students return to class calmer, more centered, and ready to learn, which benefits not just the individual student but the entire classroom environment. The space has given them an outlet for self-regulation and reflection, which is especially helpful during moments of stress or frustration. This project has truly enriched our school culture by promoting emotional well-being and making mindfulness accessible to as many scholars that can. We are deeply grateful to the donors who made this possible—your generosity has created a ripple effect of calm, focus, and joy throughout our school. When we introduced our extra wiggle wobble chair feet, our students were so excited that more of us can use them!\r\n\r\nWe utilize flexible seating throughout the day. Many of our students have sensory needs and lots of energy, and these are the perfect tool to help them focus and learn. What is great about these wiggle wobble chair feet is that they are relatively quiet when they are being used, so they are not a distraction to the rest of the class.
