We will have so many uses for these Chromebooks. Students will practice touch typing in order to publish their final drafts, and use Scratch to bring our classroom novels (including Esperanza Rising and Number the Stars) to life in a digital way. They will use Scratch and other coding programs to develop their coding skills. Your support of this project will help my students become leaders in the twenty-first century digital world. They are eager to learn more about computers, but we currently do not have regular access to technology. Greater access to technology will prepare them for later learning and life outside of the classroom.
