This project has allowed us to bring lessons to life in ways that were not possible before, making learning more engaging, interactive, and accessible for all learners.\r\n\r\nThe technology helps students by providing immediate feedback, visual support, and opportunities to practice skills at their own pace. In the classroom, we use it for small-group instruction, skill reinforcement, and independent learning. Students can hear directions, see concepts modeled, and interact directly with the content, which builds confidence and deepens understanding. It has been especially helpful for students who need repetition, visual cues, or alternative ways to demonstrate what they know.\r\n\r\nWhat excites my students most is how interactive and empowering this technology feels. They love being able to take ownership of their learning, tapping, responding, and engaging in real time rather than just listening. Many students light up when it's their turn to use it, and even those who are usually hesitant to participate are eager to try. Learning feels fun, modern, and meaningful to them.\r\n\r\nSeveral students who previously struggled to stay focused or felt unsure about participating have especially thrived. I've seen quieter students become more confident, students with learning challenges remain engaged for longer periods, and students who need extra support feel successful without feeling singled out. The technology allows me to meet students where they are, and that has made a powerful difference in their motivation and growth.\r\n\r\nThank you for believing in my students and investing in tools that help them feel capable, excited, and supported. Most of our parents came out to build gingerbread houses with their children making it a heartwarming, shared home-school experience. The extra icing came in super handy as the icing that was included was hardened and there wasn't enough. Students who didn't have a parent had an adult partner helping out. This is our 3rd year inviting families to bond with their children during the holidays! The smiles and laughter were contagious as candy was eaten secretly (wink wink). Some parents were master builders while others were budding novices but a good time was had by all. \r\n\r\nThe pot and induction oven came in so handy for making hot chocolate! It heated up quickly, as students helped to add milk, chocolate powder, sugar and to stir. We addressed the heat and safe cooking practices, learned new words like \"dissolve\" for the sugar and chocolate powder, \"stir and mix\" and how the ingredients help to make hot chocolate taste sweet. The serving spoons came in handy for our Thanksgiving as well as our Pajama day celebration today. Thank you for supporting our Stem Holiday celebration with Families. My students are able to not only take individualized assessments and screeners during the day, but they get to work strategically on skills they need to develop in order to close learning gaps.\r\nThe headsets allow the students to practice phonics, math, reading, and science through fun games and activities. A favorite app that the DOE has is Super Teacher. This app has an AI teacher that talks to the student and reinforces tailored skills and drills they need to review. It was impossible for a class to use this application when all the students are working on different levels and individual computers were talking over the others. Without head phones, my class would never be able to take advantage of this opportunity while they are at school. The headsets have made a world of difference. The kids were so excited to receive their own headsets and not have to share with other classes.\r\nThe flexible seating chair is used in our meeting area time. Kids take turns sitting in this chair throughout the day. It is a great focusing tool and it also calms behaviors of students who come to school not ready to work. When the audio is clear and personalized, students immerse themselves more fully in learning activities, whether they're practicing reading fluency, exploring math games, or working through interactive lessons. Their excitement shows every time they put on their headphones—they know they're ready to learn.\r\n\r\nMost importantly, your donation has helped create a calmer, more productive classroom environment where every student can succeed at their own pace. We've already begun using the floor spots, foldable cones, and foam dice in a variety of activities. One of our favorite moments was during a station-based fitness circuit: students used the floor spots to navigate movement paths, the cones to guide agility drills, and the foam dice to roll for different exercises at each stop. It was incredible to see how naturally they engaged with the materials and how smoothly the stations ran.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the new equipment, their faces lit up. They couldn't wait to explore the colorful spots, set up cones, and take turns rolling the oversized dice to see what challenge would come next. Their excitement turned into focused effort and joyful learning almost instantly.\r\n\r\nThanks to your generosity, we're now able to build more interactive, skill-building lessons that keep students moving and motivated. Our next steps include using the materials to create team-based games, cooperative challenges, and skill progression activities that help students grow stronger, more confident, and more connected as learners.
