As a NYC teacher, I have limited resources and support from the admin and parents when it comes to supplies for the students. Last year, roughly 60% of the students were coming to school daily with no supplies. Each day, we would give out 20 plus pencils and countless sheets of loose leaf paper that would end up in tables or on the floor. \r\n\r\nI wanted to be able to provide notebooks for each student. Headphones where also part of the project because 90% of the work was computer based and many students benefitted from watching videos that models the topic and solution process. \r\n\r\nThe other materials were also needed to run lessons and small groups with the students.
