For instance, when students hit a wall while troubleshooting a project, they take a short, regulated break at the exercise station. One of my most restless students used the resistance bands for just two minutes to work off excess energy, returned to his group calm, and immediately helped his team solve a complex issue.\r\n\r\nWe are infusing these materials into a unit where students will track how brief physical force affects their focus, heart rate, and problem-solving speed.
