I teach 6-8 grade Math to English Language Learners in a public school in a high need area of New York. Many of my students do not speak English who need support and scaffolding in order to take advantage of our daily lessons. These students have the challenge of not only having to learn a new language, adjust to a new culture and country, but also learn content and prepare for the State Exam. Many of these students are considered Students with Interrupted Former Education (SIFE). Many have never experienced the opportunity to learn with technology aids in the classroom. With your help, we will accomplish our goal, to become a High Tech Class!!

About my class
