This Winter Extravaganza event is a highlight in our school year and is an event that is loved by all! The drama club students had a great time performing some holiday and winter songs accompanied by a few volunteer teacher that sang and played musical instruments with them. It was wonderful to see the whole school and the community come together to celebrate the holidays and raise funds for the Drama Club. It was a huge success and we were able to raise enough funds to put on our yearly musical theatre production, which this year will be Moana Jr. \r\n\r\nNone of this would have been possible without you extraordinary help. And the pretzels... oh my... they started a thing where they lick off the salt first, then eat them. The students love that they have so many options, so they try to mix it up and play different games each week. Currently, Sorry! and chess are big winners. I look forward to teaching them Yahtzee soon!!\r\n\r\nI'm enjoying playing the games with them as well.... makes me feel like a kid again. Mostly, I love watching the students learn life lessons while always having fun. They're getting better at being gracious losers and compromising.
