After 30 years, the Glens Falls High School After Prom is still going strong! This year, over 97% of the students who attended the prom also attended the after prom. The event was organized by parents who raised more than $20,000 from our generous community and donors like you! \r\n\r\nMore than 40 junior class parents spent months planning and preparing decorations, determining games, scheduling performers, and ultimately ensuring their students attended the event rather than participate in private after prom parties. Because of the strong community support, the after prom is free. The interior of a local sports dome (Afrimś ADK Dome) was transformed into a coffee shop with live music, a painting studio, and a casino style game room. Students enjoyed casino games, a cash cube, lawn games, numerous sports, and our 360 Photo Booth with Vegas style backdrop! It was a fun and different activity that drew students to attend.\r\n\r\nMany students (and faculty!) had a blast taking part in the photo booth that was complete with fun props. Students were able to set their phone in the holder and spin around to music with friends, taking many photos and videos. This booth was also popular with our neurodivergent students. Some students were dressed with fun glasses and danced on the booth platform, adding to the positive experience they had that night. \r\n\r\nNone of this would be possible without the strong support of our generous community, including our Donor´s Choose supporters like you!
