When the hats, gloves and mittens arrived, the children were so excited (please see picture). They keep everyone toasty warm all Winter on the playground and at home. The children are still benefiting from the snacks they share when they do not bring one from home. The snacks fill up their bellies so they can keep learning throughout the day. Last, the model magic has been a tremendous help supporting some children who are working on their fine motor control and SEL skills. Working with clay is soothing and calming to many children. \r\n\r\nThank you again for investing in our future generations. They are placed in our classroom library with afghans on each chair. The children enjoy being able to choose their seat when doing classwork, centers, quiet time, and read to self. The saucer chairs are the seats that are always chosen first every time.
