The materials that I have requested will be used to transform the classrooms that I work in into more engaging learning environments. The variety of seating options will provide the students with choice and ownership over their learning. It will also help to increase their sense of community as the students learn to use and share the classroom space. The wobble chairs and balance balls will provide students with a seating option that allows them to move their bodies while they work to help maintain focus. The bean bag chairs will give them a fun and comfortable place to do their reading and writing work and the light covers will help reduce the harsh glare from fluorescent lights in the classroom by creating a softer more natural light.
