The students had a fantastic learning experience germinating tomatoes and chile in the hydroponic systems. We were able to transplant the seedlings to our garden at the end of the year. The compost bins have allowed us to begin creating our own healthy soil and the students love bringing in vegetable scraps to add to the bins. The kneepads were a game-changer in allowing the students to comfortably access the garden beds, pull weeds and spread mulch! The birds have been ravaging the suet and we have been able to observe many different species of birds enjoying the feed! Lastly, thank you so much for the benches! What a wonderful space they have helped us create for our students to read in the garden.
