Thanks to your kindness, the event went on for another year! Ninety-five high school art students had every supply they needed to bring their creative visions to life! The students participated in the event last Thursday and Friday. We were very thankful that Friday was a beautiful day for us to paint downtown, except for occasional wind gusts reaching over 40 mph! Luckily we had enough tape from the donations to make sure the paintings really could be secured to the windows! The students were very grateful that we had so many high quality supplies this year.\r\n\r\nThis project was a huge success and a wonderful learning experience for everyone involved. Students worked tirelessly to plan, sketch, and paint Halloween-themed designs that brightened downtown storefronts and businesses. None of this would have been possible without your generosity and pride in this long running South tradition. Our students completed science fair projects and competed at the Jersey Shore Science Fair. Student learned who to use JGI IMG to look at DNA sequences associated with gut microbes and reproductive health.
