We utilized all the supplies up until June 23, our last day. We were playing UNO on Monday and a kid said, \"This is our last game\", and tears began to well up in my eyes. It really was. There were days that I literally had to pass out the stress balls and the squeeze toys, all while teaching both classes. We played a great deal of UNO, Connect Four, Trouble. Playdoh Magnets & paper. I would assemble students that did not particularly hang out with one another and gauge the interaction to use as a teaching moment, and shift the players around all games. I played UNO each time and they enjoyed me playing. I kept reiterating that they had to practice sharing and getting along. Some days I had kids who were over stimulated and I did not allow them to play right away. However, I would give them the Social Emotional Learning cards and stress toys. Sometimes it was eight kids and rotate to four more. They had to assemble the cards and explain to me what was going on in the pictures. Out of 42 children I knew each one personally, what made them tick, who needed what and at what time it was needed. It was my job to learn and teach and I was grateful for that. The supplies helped me to really teach SOCIAL EMOTIONAL LEARNING. This could not have happened without you.Thank you all.","fullyFundedDate":1742936009236,"projectUrl":"project/social-emotional-learning/9185486/","projectTitle":"Social Emotional Learning","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Johnson","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9969802_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1753299036299","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9969802"},{"teacherId":7093893,"projectId":8015498,"letterContent":"I am grateful for your gift.
