These materials will help my students with hands-on learning experiences during center time. For math, the students will be able to engage and manipulate the counting pegs to match the numbers presented to help reinforce one-to-one correspondence and counting in general. For language arts, the students will be able to focus in on their knowledge of letters and sounds to help spell words and reinforce their learning of CVC words. These items will serve as a great tool for the students to use and to help scaffold their learning overall. They will also be able to encourage the students to become independent learners as most items selected are self correcting enrichment activities.
