From modeling physiological processes with clay to drawing tissues and muscles. Students have benefited immensely in their understanding of anatomy & physiology through art. I still have student work that I put on display in the halls that many guest and administrators have been impressed by. Students are still using these supplies till this day and are enjoying how they are learning health science through art. Thank you so much for providing this years long benefit to my students. These students were incredibly dedicated and hardworking, consistently pushing themselves to master complex material in preparation for their AP exams. Before the project, our windowless classroom often became uncomfortably hot due to constant heating, which made it difficult for students to stay focused during lessons and independent work.\r\n\r\nThe addition of a dehumidifier and portable air conditioners significantly improved the classroom conditions. With a cooler, more comfortable space, my students were able to concentrate better, stay engaged for longer periods, and absorb challenging content more effectively. The improved environment played a key role in helping them prepare for their AP exams with clarity and confidence.\r\n\r\nAfter taking the AP Calculus and AP Statistics exams in May, my students expressed strong confidence in their performance. We reviewed many of the problems together, and after doing some conservative scoring, the majority—if not all—believed they earned a score of 4 or 5. Many even said they felt most confident about their AP Calculus or AP Statistics exams compared to the other AP exams they took. This project helped remove a major barrier to their success, allowing them to perform at the level they always had the potential to reach.","fullyFundedDate":1739556063495,"projectUrl":"project/creating-a-comfortable-learning-environm/9022247/","projectTitle":"Creating a Comfortable Learning Environment: Climate Control for My Classroom","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Patiak","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-9_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7678736"},{"teacherId":1687650,"projectId":9236381,"letterContent":"Your continued support for the success of our students is very important.
