Because of you, my students now have access to flexible seating and paper organizers that have truly transformed the way we learn each day.\r\n\r\nWe are already using these new resources in meaningful ways. During our recent writing workshop, students were able to choose seating that helped them focus best—some curled up with clipboards on the flexible seats, while others used the organizers at their desks to keep drafts, revisions, and graphic organizers neatly in place. \r\nWhen the students first saw the materials, their excitement was immediate and genuine. There were smiles, gasps, and so many questions about how they could use everything. More importantly, they felt trusted and empowered. Giving them choice in where and how they work has created a stronger sense of ownership and responsibility in our classroom community.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, we are continuing to build on this momentum. We are beginning a research-based project where students will gather information, organize their notes, and present their findings. The paper organizers will be essential for keeping their work structured, while the flexible seating will allow them to collaborate, reflect, and work in ways that suit their individual learning styles.\r\n\r\nYour support has created a more comfortable, organized, and engaging learning environment where all students can thrive. My pre-k students were so excited when the new resources arrived. The students used them as a part of our day when students get a choice of activities. They chose activities that required working together and independently such as building puzzles, constructing towers and structures and learning about patterns and shapes. \r\n\r\nThese open-ended materials offered students the opportunity to build and create using their imaginations while learning basic STEM skills. These materials brought students together for collaboration and learning how to create.\r\n\r\nOne of the favorite items is the \"pixel\" building activity. It is creating pictures using cubes. They relate it to playing Minecraft and have so much fun creating! Also, the standing lamps create a soft relaxing environment where we can turn off the fluorescent lights for part of the day. \r\n\r\nThank you again for considering my project! These resources have truly transformed our learning environment. Our students are using the flexible seating during small-group reading and writing centers, which has helped them feel more comfortable and focused. The paper organizers and colored markers have been especially helpful during our technology unit to organize timeline. The cleaning materials and tissues have been a lifesaver during this cold and flu season!\r\nWhen the materials first arrived, the excitement in the room was unforgettable. Students immediately noticed the new seating and couldn't wait to try it out. There were smiles, gasps, and even a few happy cheers! The colorful markers made our brainstorming sessions feel creative and engaging, and students were eager to dive right into their work. They truly felt special knowing that generous donors cared about their learning experience.\r\nBecause of your kindness, our next steps include beginning a collaborative research project where students will use the paper organizers to plan their writing and the markers to highlight key details from their sources. The flexible seating will continue to support partner and group discussions as students share ideas and give feedback. Your generosity has not only provided supplies, but also motivation and inspiration.
