Now, when they are finished with their class assignments, they get to choose a fun and engaging learning center to work on to extend their learning. Additionally, they can grab a sit stone, carpet circle, or wiggle seat and find a comfy place in the classroom that best suits their learning style. They are more motivated to learn and complete their best work in the classroom when they know they will get to use our flexible learning materials. Additionally, having the noise cancelling headphones and the headphones with microphones help students find the appropriate noise level for them as they work. I am excited to use these with students for years to come. Students look forward to visiting the Otter Store every quarter, and due to the generosity of our donors, it is especially exciting when they can purchase something new that they may not otherwise be able to own. \r\n\r\nThis is the first time I have turned to Donors Choose to help fund the Positive Behavior Program at our school, and I am looking forward to continuing this successful fundraising in the future. Coming up with funding to stock the Otter Store has proven to be stressful for me in the past, and I am so appreciative that your gift alleviated that stress and allowed me to place my energy into a myriad of other needs that my school presents to me as a school counselor.
