By funding this project, it will help my students by creating a 21st-century learning experience in classroom technology. It will provide a learning experience for students in our Nevada Academic Content Standards of Computer and Technology. Students will learn how to code and use commands to program a small Bee-Bot Robot to move on grid mats, then eventually make their own grid mats to program the robots themselves. One of the goals of our Nevada State Technology and Science standard is to use Creativity and Innovation: Students will demonstrate creative thinking, construct knowledge, and develop innovative products and processes using technology. Rapid changes in our global society and technological advancements warrant changes to the ways technologies are integrated into classroom instruction.
