I have seen less referrals as our scholars are navigating themselves with theirbuddy. This has been a dream come true for them to say the very least. As I am going about the building our scholars share with me how their buddy supports with positive self talk, affirmations, or as someone they can share their feelings with, without of the fear. They are able to identify the zone they are in and the strategies or tools they can use to help them get there. It has been a marvel being able to witness their success. Our old games were breaking and they are so happy that we have new games. The new candyland game is much bigger and has different . My rug was rolling on the edges and when I put my new rug out, the kids were so cute and offered to take their shoes off. \r\n\r\nI got sentence strips so they can be on my wall instead of written on the board and possibly erased.
