One project had them creating a snack bag they could sell an original snack-mashup in. Another had them designing a dystopian world! Students embellished their artwork with the markers and colored pencils. They used the poster paper to display their futuristic worlds. It was so nice to have all the art supplies organized and in separate labeled drawers in the craft cart. That was one of my favorite aspects of this donation. Organization is golden to me. It helps me feel a bit more sane. The kids also enjoy it as they can find things easier. Students immediately gravitated to the rotating bookshelf towers. The displays help draw students into the library as well as helping students find a book of interest easier. There has been a significant increase in book check outs due to these displays. And students are excited that they can pick out a book mark, to color and keep, with each book checked out!\r\n The label maker has made it easier for students to locate specific areas within the room. Students are finding what they looking for faster with less anxiety when time is limited. Because of you, students have a smile on their face as they are welcomed with the ' Reading with My Gnomies' bulletin board. Which prompts the \"punny\" jokes encouraging peer interaction and promoting feelings of belonging and acceptance.\r\n During free periods and lunchtime students are \"booking\" it to the library to make crafts and collaborate with friends using the Arts and Crafts supplies. These crafts have encouraged several students, who usually keep to themselves, to interact in a positive way. This boost of self-esteem has been noticed not only in the library but also within the classroom setting.\r\n Although the library is a quieter environment for reading and studying the headphones are helpful for students who may have challenges focusing on school assignments. Two students, in particular, tell me everyday how 'cool' the multicolored headphones are as they pick out their favorite color.\r\n We are thankful for your contributions and the positive support they have provided to our students. Providing chargers for my classroom has had a significant impact on my students' learning, engagement, and the overall classroom environment. In today's educational landscape, where technology plays an essential role in instruction, ensuring that students have consistent access to charged devices is a necessity. By making chargers readily available, you have helped remove a common barrier to learning and created a more equitable and productive classroom.\r\n\r\nOne of the most immediate benefits has been increased instructional time. Before I introduced classroom chargers, it was common for students to be unable to participate fully in lessons because their devices had died. This often resulted in lost time as students tried to share devices, ask to leave the room, or disengage entirely. With chargers accessible, students can remain focused on the task at hand. This has led to smoother lesson flow, fewer interruptions, and more time spent actively learning.\r\n\r\nThe overall classroom atmosphere has also improved. Previously, low batteries could lead to frustration, off-task behavior, or even conflict when students competed for limited outlets or borrowed chargers. With a structured system for charger use, these issues have diminished. Students understand expectations, share resources respectfully, and remain focused on their work.","fullyFundedDate":1768751491018,"projectUrl":"project/i-need-a-charger-student/10036443/","projectTitle":"\"I Need A Charger!\"-Student","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Swain","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-2_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10410243"},{"teacherId":4984637,"projectId":10019665,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your thoughtful donations of classroom supplies and snacks for our students.
