Giving students the opportunity to explore the capabilities of the graphing calculators to increase scores on the ACT. A lot of the students do not have the resources to purchase their own graphing calculators and are unaware of the possibilities the graphing calculator possesses. With a couple of classroom calculators, I will be able to show the students some of the shortcuts that are available. This will give students the time needed to solve the harder problems at the end of the ACT test. Graphing calculators will also help speed up data analysis in class when plotting points and finding correlations and relationships between variables.

About my class
