Your contribution has made a significant difference, particularly for our students who are new to the United States and are in the process of learning English.\r\n\r\nThanks to your donation, our students now have access to a wonderful collection of books in their native language, allowing them to enjoy familiar stories while also supporting their language development as they learn English. Reading in their native language is a vital tool in building confidence, comprehension, and a love for reading, and your generosity is making a lasting impact on their educational journey.\r\n\r\nYour support not only enriches our library but also helps our students feel more connected to their culture and more confident in their transition to a new school and environment. Every book you've donated is a valuable resource that will contribute to their academic success and personal growth.\r\n\r\nOnce again, we deeply appreciate your kindness and generosity. I would not have any of the sensory items and calming toys without your support! My students use items such as the fidgets daily to help regulate their emotions. Students are drawn to the slinky and enjoy discovering new ways to use it. Thanks to the addition of the pillows and fuzzy gray rug, students are able to relax more comfortably under the tent. For my small groups, students love to make their own sensory bottles with the washable glitter glue. \r\n\r\nAs soon as I received all of the items, students quickly noticed the new additions to the classroom. Students frequently ask for a fidget, or to use a stress ball or silly putty to help them with emotion regulation inside and outside of the classroom. Some students have also taken interest in the punching bag and ask to use it when they are feeling mad or angry. The items received offer students comfort, support, teaches them how to recognize their emotions and learn a variety of ways to cope.\r\n\r\nFor future small and individual group lessons I would like to work with students on self-esteem. This project will include items such as beauty and hygienic products for students. The goal for this next project is to help improve the self-confidence and self-image of students who may be lower income or may be experiencing low self-esteem.
