As a kindergarten teacher I have discovered the importance of choices and flexibility in fostering students' love for learning. Students' motivations, creativity, and academic success is not only defined by their developmentally readiness. It is impacted by the environment in which they are surrounded by. The students I have served have seemed to feel empowered to be more independent when they have a choice in what they learn, how they learn, and where they learn in the classroom. That is why I want to provide more flexible ways for them to learn with these flexible seating options.

About my class
