To be unable to communicate with ease & clarity with others is so frustrating. These kids matter and deserve to have their own voice, whether verbal or nonverbal, to express themselves, communicate efficiently & effectively. The material can help them get that voice by providing materials in better quality both in in-person and/or digital formats as needed, like the Kitchen playset. Printer, speaker will help create & present materials in a better visual & audio quality! My students have delays in these areas and IEPs with goals that address these delays. The NV Academic Standards being targeted include: RL3.1, RL3.9, RI3.9, RF3.3, RL.5.1, RL.5.4, RL.5.6, L.3.1, L.3.3, L.3.4, RL.4.2, L.4.1, L.4.3, L.4.4, L.4.5, L.5.1, L.5.1c, L.5.1d, L.5.2, L.5.4, and L.5.5. These standards are aligned with my students' IEP goals/benchmarks and focus on speaking/listening, reading foundation, informational text, literature, and language standards.
