They've been able to work on team skills and spend time outaide during most subjects. Schools, especially small schools, are struggling with making budgets stretch. Because our school is a Title 1 school, most of our students come from a home with meager finances. \r\n\r\n All of my students use school instruments. Keeping them in good shape from year to year can be expensive. You have provided much needed items for my program. \r\n\r\n The music cases especially, keep our instruments from damage. The books are the curriculum that I use to teach the students how to play their chosen instrument. We had a serious need for period products. While we can get some products for the school through other avenues, they are poor quality. We were even able to give some of our homeless or at-risk students care packages over break with these products included. My seniors had an amazing experience with our college application day. There had never been an application day at my school, and it was great for the students to have a fun experience. Over half of my seniors completed a college application that day and half of those students also completed scholarships that day. We laughed and had fun which was the most important part. They had an enjoyable experience which made our FSA Id day that much easier.
