Our students come from diverse backgrounds, many of them do not have food and drinks other than what the school provides. I need a refrigerator so I can provide drinks and snacks when needed. I also need the refrigerator to act as the school's First Aid Safety assistant, I am expected to have supplies to aid the many diabetic students that come to me for help. Studies have shown teens are suffering the most during this pandemic especially from not being able to socialize with their peers. Many of them live in households where there is a severe shortage of food on a daily basis. It is hard to enough to keep them motivated, but even harder when they are hungry.
