My students were ecstatic when our supplies arrived. They cheered and clapped as I took each item out of the box. Students built on each other's designs and worked together to make bigger and sturdy designs. \r\nThe STEM kits were a big hit. They also provided a challenge because students had to follow many steps using different materials. At first students struggled, but students motivated each other to continue to try to finish their designs. Students were able to grow through their trial and error. The new materials have helped create a hands on, creative learning environment where students can explore ideas while working together.\r\n\r\nWe've been using the supplies during our art and creativity stations. One of our first projects was a collage activity where students used colorful paper and craft materials to create their own animals and pictures. They carefully cut, glued, and added their own creative touches, and many were excited to show their finished work to the class.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the materials, they were immediately excited and eager to start creating. The different colors and textures really sparked their creativity and kept them engaged.\r\n\r\nNext, we plan to keep using these supplies for projects connected to the stories we read and seasonal crafts.
