They've also made new friends at our lunchtime friendship table. They've even made bracelets for one another. \r\n\r\nMy students deal with a lot of trauma and stress so the mental health soothing toys that I received help to soothe them. I have several students visit me each week to request a fidget toy or two. \r\n\r\nStudents enjoy coming to my office to watch and listen to the jellyfish lamp. They say it's soothing to them and helps to calm them when they visit. \r\n\r\nI am truly grateful for your donation to help my students feel welcomed, calm, and in community.","fullyFundedDate":1768441201891,"projectUrl":"project/a-welcoming-and-sel-supportive-space-for/9996496/","projectTitle":"A Welcoming and SEL-Supportive Space for Newcomer High School Students","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Gonzalez","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-10_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9370279"},{"teacherId":9846247,"projectId":10004715,"letterContent":"I am writing to share the profound impact your generosity has had on my classroom, not just in terms of the materials on our shelves, but in the very way I show up for my students every day. Before these projects were funded, so much of my mental energy was spent \"bottom-lining\" my curriculum—trying to figure out how to stretch inadequate resources or modify activities to the point where they lost their spark. Now, having the actual tools I need to do my job effectively has completely shifted my daily teaching flow. Instead of starting the day with the stress of logistical gaps, I can walk into my room with a sense of readiness and professional ease. This shift from \"making do\" to \"making an impact\" has allowed me to focus entirely on the students' needs and the nuance of their learning.\r\n\r\nOn a personal level, your support has fundamentally bolstered my confidence as an educator. There is a specific kind of empowerment that comes from knowing that your professional vision is backed by a community of supporters. It has moved me away from a mindset of limitation and into one of innovation; I find myself taking more creative risks and aiming for higher standards because I finally have the infrastructure to support them. You haven't just provided supplies; you've provided the validation that this work matters. That confidence translates directly into the energy I bring to my lessons, creating a more stable, vibrant, and effective learning environment for every student who walks through my door. Thank you for investing in my growth and for believing in the potential of our classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1768680892740,"projectUrl":"project/whole-child-whole-world-fueling-studen/10004715/","projectTitle":"Whole Child, Whole World: Fueling Students' Hearts and Minds","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Gordon","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9846247_orig.jpg?crop=2499,2499,x0,y463&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1732661715260","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/ms-tgordon"},{"teacherId":10101823,"projectId":9988296,"letterContent":"Many of our students use technology every day to support their learning, and having the right tools makes a big difference. Recently, we received Chromebook chargers as well as chargers for cell phones and other devices. This has been a big help because students can now keep their devices charged throughout the school day. They no longer have to worry about their Chromebooks or phones dying in class, which allows them to stay focused and engaged in their lessons.\r\n\r\nThe new chargers are especially exciting for students because they can quickly charge their devices whenever they need to. This includes charging cell phones before their bus ride home, which ensures they can stay in contact with their families and travel safely. Students have shared that having a charged device makes them feel more prepared and ready to participate in learning.\r\n\r\nSome students who often struggled because their devices would run out of battery have warmed most to this new technology. They are now able to stay connected in class, complete assignments on time, and fully engage in lessons. Overall, having reliable chargers at school has made a noticeable difference in how students use technology to learn, stay safe, and grow.\r\n\r\nWe are truly grateful for your generosity. Your support makes it possible for our students to have the tools they need to succeed every day. Thank you for helping make a positive difference in their learning and safety.","fullyFundedDate":1769177573856,"projectUrl":"project/helping-students-focus-organize-and-su/9988296/","projectTitle":"Helping Students Focus, Organize, and Succeed","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Gallegos","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-2_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10101823"},{"teacherId":8154865,"projectId":10014119,"letterContent":"My students have been such active readers with these materials. They've created flash cards, are focused readers, and have completed complex projects. My students were so excited to unbox and interact with these materials. They were amazed that they got to use these things for free. The amount of supplies have lasted us all year. We have not had to be hasty about our supplies. We live in abundance. \r\nThe most change I've seen is their active annotations. We worked on being meta cognitive learners.
