As a kindergarten teacher, I aim to instill a love of learning through fun meaningful experinces. Each Friday, we read the donated books that taught us inclusiveness and kindness.\r\n\r\nOur project invovled help the Lynch Garden grow. We created a paper kindness tree on the classroom door. Each student's act of kindness earned a leaf to add to the tree. It wasn't long before our tree was overgrown with kindness.\r\n\r\nWe learned about the life cycle of butterflies. Students were amazed as the caterpillars formed chrysalises, and one magical day, they turned into beautiful butterflies. We released them into the garden. The children were sad to see them go, but proud of their accomplishment.\r\n\r\nOur reading lessons taught us about the animals that are good for the garden. Whe the lady bugs arrived, we added worms. Wearing the donated gloves, students release the ladybugs and worms into the soil.
