It has sparked so much curiosity and conversation.\r\n\r\nOur new pencil sharpener has saved us so much time and the Sharpies have helped students bring their ideas to life in colorful, creative ways during group activities and projects.\r\n\r\nSome students who are usually quiet have really opened up while taking care of the plants. They feel responsible and confident. Others who struggle to stay focused now stay engaged longer during lessons with the headphones.\r\n\r\nMost of all, you've helped create a learning environment where every student feels included and supported. Students had such a wonderful and engaging time making their own coin books and contributing to the class anchor chart on money. \r\n\r\nOur next journey with the use of the anchor chart paper, we are diving into the world of Harry Potter for our English unit. The anchor chart paper is going to be used to highlight important vocabulary for students to know in order to engage with our book.\r\n\r\nThank you for helping me bring more collaboration and interaction through our chart paper needs! It is a cultural mindset at Fremont to allow students to take the time they need to reset with the pets. \r\nThe pets teach compassion for self and others as well as empathy. Our hope is to eventually add more to the third through fifth grade classrooms.
