Having the house flags up in the room brings it all to life—it gives them a hands-on way to connect with the story. This year to help bring the magic even more alive we did a house sorting ceremony and students received their own owl to signify their start as a wizard. Each month we also do house challenges to build community and leadership skills as each team works to earn the house cup.\r\n\r\nOn any given day, our reading block is buzzing with excitement. You'll see groups of students huddled together under their house flags, eagerly debating a plot twist or using sticky notes to mark their favorite lines. During quiet reading time, the whole room goes dead silent as everyone gets completely lost in the wizarding world.
