Students in my third grade classroom will have the opportunity to choose a comfy seat so that they are able to learn to their full potential. There are many options that they will have such as wobble chairs, bungee chairs and pillows to relax on while reading. They will also be able to choose a stool, exercise ball, or cushion for their chair to use while learning one of the many subjects we learn in 3rd Grade. These options will enhance the learning of my students so that they do not have to sit in a chair at a desk all day long. I am excited to give my students the option of flexible seating! Being able to have choices in the classroom opens the door for so many opportunities. Using a portable desk while writing gives my students freedom in the classroom. Putting a band on the foot of their chair will help to keep their minds working while still being able to “move”. Being able to sit back, relax and read a good book with a pillow will meet the needs of so many of my students and I am so excited to offer these options to them!
