The accuracy and precision students are able to cut cardboard has improved the quality of the final product. \r\n Because of the holiday season, my student chose to make 3D stars. On each \"point\" the students wrote one way they demonstrate Caring and Compassion for themselves and/or others. Since we decoupaged the front, I had the students write their examples on the back. A ribbon was glued to the final product for displaying in their home. Having a visual reminder enhanced the students' drive to always show caring and compassion when given the opportunity. \r\n An unexpected, but incredible, learning objective was also created by the use of the Chomp Saw. Students who used it first, became the teacher for the next student. My students quickly became leaders, giving tips and instruction as needed to their peer. Mistakes were met with grace and understanding as all students learned about the tool. \r\n I cannot thank you enough for the Chomp Saw.
