Each student needs a notebook, folder, and pencils for class. The students will be using the composition notebooks as an interactive math notebook. They also need scissors and glue and other supplies for all the interactive flippables that go into their notebooks. Using interactive notebooks allows them to organize their thoughts while accommodating multiple learning styles. The notebooks allow them to create a resource to use as they continue learning . They are building a portfolio of their work over a period of time. It also creates a student- teacher-parent interaction tool to strengthen those relationships. The notebooks help them succeed in math!
