This project has already made such a positive impact on our classroom!\r\n\r\nThe new student supply centers have been especially helpful. Students now have easy access to classroom essentials such as pencils, crayons, glue, scissors, pencil sharpeners, and a crayon sharpener. Having these materials organized and easily accessible has helped our classroom run more smoothly and has encouraged students to become more independent.\r\n\r\nEvery student now has their own whiteboard and clipboard. These resources are used throughout the day during whole-group lessons, small-group instruction, learning centers, and independent work. Having their own materials allows students to actively participate, practice skills, and quickly show what they know.\r\n\r\nOn the first day of school, we read *Jitter Juice* and made our own Jitter Juice! We also read *Our Class Is a Family* and completed a fun activity about what it means to be a classroom family. I have a very sweet and bright class this year, and I'm so excited to do some projects and activities with them to stretch their creativity, design and problem solving skills. These math materials will allow me to embrace the teachable moments that arise often in our classroom. Students have already used many of the supplies.\r\n\r\nThe hundreds charts are a big hit. Having many available allows the students to get one as needed, and they have come in super handy the last few weeks we have started learning addition with regrouping! The number blocks are excellent representation of number bonds and parts and wholes as they relate to addition and subtraction. We haven't used the coin bingo yet, but I'm looking forward to planning that as a fun Friday afternoon lesson soon!\r\n\r\nAgain, thank you for the blessings you made possible for the students in my classroom!
