I use a blend of assigned seats and flexible seating in my classroom, depending on the activity and/or individual student's needs. This strategy helps give my students with the best learning environment possible. These Wobble Chairs will help me provide a variety of seating options to meet my students' needs. Five Wobble Chairs will be placed at my small group table, five will set at a round table used by the students during center time and by our push-in title teacher during her lessons, and two will be in our writing center. The placement of the chairs will be flexible; for example, I might pull a Wobble Chair to be used by an individual student at his or her desk during whole group learning. For some students, having an outlet for "wiggles" can make a huge difference in their ability to focus on school work. Active bodies = Active minds. These chairs will allow students movement while they are learning, working, thinking, reading and writing. Thank you so much for considering donating to our second grade class!!
